The Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero instrument panel (Mitsubishi Green) 1:24 (Yahu Models) is a pre-painted photo-etched cockpit accessory in the interior shade of machines from Mitsubishi production. It is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pre-painted color photo-etched accessory for the cockpit of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero fighter in 1:24 scale from Yahu Models. It is not a model of the aircraft but a finished instrument panel that replaces the plastic or decal panel from the kit in the cockpit. This version is colored to match the interior shade typical of Zeros built at the Mitsubishi plants. The part is multi-layered, with fine dials and a gloss coat imitating the instrument glasses. It is prepared for the 1:24 A6M2 kit from Trumpeter.
The panel is glued into the cockpit in place of the part from the kit, so there is no need to paint the individual dials. Before gluing, offer the part up and, if necessary, trim the edges slightly to allow for differences in the shape of cockpits. It is glued with a small amount of super glue.
The A6M2 Zero was a Japanese carrier-borne fighter from the beginning of the war in the Pacific. The machines were built by two manufacturers, Mitsubishi and Nakajima, and the cockpit interiors differed in color between them. This panel matches the cockpit shade of machines from Mitsubishi production. If you are building a Zero made by Nakajima, choose the Nakajima Green version.
This is a cockpit accessory, not a model in its own right. The aircraft kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
