A resin 3D-printed detail set for experienced modelers. It is NOT a model in its own right but an accessory replacing the cockpit of the plastic kit of the Vought A-7D Corsair II attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. This is the land-based (US Air Force) version of the Corsair - please tell it apart from the carrier-borne A-7E. The detailed edition is designed for hand painting the instruments (without pre-printed 3D decals), so it gives you full control over the colors of the cockpit.
The A-7D was the land-based attack version of the Corsair II operated by the US Air Force. The set covers the cockpit of this particular version; the tub, the instrument panel, the side consoles and the seat match the A-7D layout.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash the mold release agent off them and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. Because it is a detailed edition without 3D decals, count on painting the instruments carefully; check the fit against your own box.
This is a resin detail set, not a model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
