CMK 1:48 Beaufighter TF Mk.X – dinghy box and access panel is a resin detail accessory for a model of this British torpedo aircraft. The box is shaped to fit the Revell kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer CMK adds a faithfully rendered box for the inflatable life raft (dinghy) and the related fuselage access panel to a model of the Bristol Beaufighter TF Mk.X. It is not an airplane kit, but an accessory for advanced modelers that shows a detail usually simplified on a plastic model. The mating surfaces match the upper fuselage of the Revell kit.
The Bristol Beaufighter TF Mk.X was a British twin-engine heavy fighter and torpedo aircraft with Bristol Hercules radial engines, deployed above all with Coastal Command. For operations over the sea it carried an inflatable life raft in a box in the upper part of the fuselage, reached through a hinged panel.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue. The panel can be shown open with the stowed box visible. We recommend checking the fit on the plastic model you are using and sanding the joints lightly.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin accessory. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
