It is NOT a standalone model but an accessory that replaces the cockpit of a plastic kit of the Vought A-7E Corsair II carrier attack aircraft (the Navy version) in 1:48 scale. The set captures the LATE form of the cockpit and brings a finely printed tub, an instrument panel, side consoles and an ejection seat at a level of detail that plastic cannot reach.
The A-7E Corsair II was the main carrier attack aircraft of the US Navy. This set covers the LATE version of the cockpit – please distinguish it from the early A-7E version and from the cockpit of the land-based A-7D version used by the US Air Force. Choose exactly according to the particular version of your aircraft.
Separate the parts from the print supports, wash the print resin residue off them and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The set is tuned for the matching A-7 plastic kit in 1:48; check the fit with your own box.
It is a resin detail set, not a model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
