This photo-etched set from Flyhawk is intended for detailing the tiny models of American carrier aircraft of the Second World War, specifically the TBM/TBF Avenger, SB2C Helldiver, F6F Hellcat and F4U Corsair types. These are not aircraft kits but a set of fine photo-etched parts with which you improve the aircraft supplied with Trumpeter aircraft carrier kits.
Little aircraft in 1:700 scale tend to be heavily simplified in plastic, with thick wings and coarse propellers. The photo-etched parts make it possible to replace the propellers, refine the flying surfaces and add further detail, so that the flight deck of a carrier looks considerably more convincing. The set is prepared for the carrier aircraft models normally included with ship kits.
Separate the very small parts with a sharp knife, bend them in a photo-etch bender and glue them with a micro drop of cyanoacrylate. Given the size of the parts we recommend working magnification and tweezers. Paint with an airbrush after applying primer.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The aircraft models themselves, glue and paints are not included in the package.
