A plastic kit of the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 in 1:72 scale in a boxing devoted to captured aircraft. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 is the most widespread sub-variant of the G series. Its conspicuous recognition feature is the bulged covers on the upper part of the forward fuselage, called for by the larger breeches of the synchronized 13 mm machine guns. Power came from the liquid-cooled inverted V12 DB 605.
The qualifier in the name refers to aircraft that fell into the hands of the enemy and then flew with trials units under foreign national markings. Such aircraft tend to have an untypical combination of their original camouflage and newly applied markings, which makes them a rewarding subject to build.
This is an injection-molded polystyrene kit completed by a decal sheet and instructions for building and painting. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and is put together with ordinary cement for plastic models.
The package holds plastic parts, decals and instructions. Paints, glue, filler and other accessories are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
