Gotha Go-242A-1/Go-244 1:72 from IBG Models. An injection-molded plastic kit of the German transport glider and its powered version.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Gotha Go 242 transport glider and its powered version Go 244 in 1:72 scale from IBG Models. It is a new model with fine surface detail, suitable both for collectors of air transport equipment and for dioramas with troops being landed.
The Gotha Go 242 was a twin-boom cargo glider of the Second World War, towed behind bombers and intended to carry troops and materiel. The Go 244 version was given a pair of engines, which turned the glider into a transport aircraft able to fly on its own.
Work on the cargo compartment and the cockpit and paint them before closing the fuselage. Use thin modeling cement to glue the plastic, apply a primer before painting and put the shades on with an airbrush if you can. The interior and the armament can be developed further with resin sets in the same scale.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
