This is a resin set of landing gear wheels for the supersonic Lockheed F-104 Starfighter fighter in the G and S versions in 1:72 scale from Reskit. The set matches machines in Turkish colors. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the wheels from the kit with more accurate castings.
The castings capture the tread pattern and the sidewalls of the tires as well as the layout of the wheel hubs. The wheels give a slightly loaded impression, so a standing model looks more faithful than with the smooth plastic parts from the box. The set is made for the ordinary plastic kits of the Starfighter in the G and S versions in this scale.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the mating surfaces. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), not with plastic cement. Protect your airways when sanding resin; apply a primer before painting.
It is an add-on set, not an airplane model. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
