The Supermarine Spitfire 5 spoke wheels set 1:72 is a resin detail accessory from the Reskit brand that replaces the plastic wheels from the box with finely worked castings.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit of the aircraft but a resin set of landing gear wheels for models of the Supermarine Spitfire fighters in 1:72 scale. The accessory from the manufacturer Reskit replaces the wheels from a plastic kit with more faithful castings with raised tire tread and cleanly rendered five spokes on the rim.
The landing gear wheels are among the most closely watched details of a finished model. Resin castings have crisper definition than injection-molded plastic, they hold their circular shape and once glued on and painted they markedly raise the overall impression the landing gear makes.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, as resin castings. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
