Copper Wire 0.07 mm, 20 g is a very fine copper wire in the natural color of copper from AK interactive. It serves as a building material for the finest wiring and detail.
Responsibility details are not available.
A copper wire seven hundredths of a millimeter in diameter, packaged by weight at twenty grams according to the name and supplied in the natural color of copper, that is, with no surface finish. It is a building material from AK interactive, not a finished part. The thickness is at the limit of visibility, so the wire is aimed at the very finest work: electrical leads, fine wiring in interiors, braided cables and bindings, where even a thin copper wire of ordinary thickness would look out of proportion. Several strands can be twisted together to give a cable of any thickness with a faithful structure.
Metal is painted differently from plastic, and copper is among the poorer bases of all. Degrease the wire first and only then lay a thin coat of primer on it; a heavy coat peels off such a fine section and cracks when it bends. Apply the paints that follow in several barely perceptible coats, because any heavier coat increases the effective diameter of the wire and wipes out precisely the fineness you bought it for. Anyone who wants to keep the metallic character can lay only a glaze of a dark shade over the cleaned copper: an opaque paint would cover the copper completely, whereas a glaze only subdues it and lets the warm metal tone show through. If the wire is left unpainted, expect the copper to darken in time.
For modelers who fine-tune detail beyond what the kit holds and work with tweezers and a magnifier. Anyone looking for wire for heavier runs will reach for a thicker diameter from the same group of materials.
The wire has a sharp end, so work carefully and clear the offcuts away. Keep out of the reach of children.
