Six shades of Israeli ground equipment, from American olive to the desert and Sinai grays of several generations.

Israeli armored vehicles can be recognized by their color at first glance. The desert tones with their marked gray cast came about so that a vehicle would blend into the parched, rocky landscape, and over the decades they changed several times. The set brings six shades that make it possible to build vehicles from the sixties to the present day.
The base is the American olive in which equipment arrived from deliveries, and the sea-green tone known from the early conversions. The rest is made up of four desert and Sinai grays of different generations, each with a different ratio of yellow to gray. It is precisely mixing these up that tends to be the most common mistake on Israeli models.
The manufacturer points out that the name printed on the bottle may differ from the name in the listing, and recommends going by the number of the shade. With the Israeli grays that applies twice over, because the individual generations differ from one another only by a slight shift toward yellow. Before spraying, therefore, make a swatch on a piece of plastic and compare the colors side by side. The difference between a wet and a dried coat is noticeable with these tones, so judgment is only possible once the sample has dried completely, ideally in daylight.
