A Mr.Paint modeling paint from the Aqua line in the shade RLM 61 Dunkelbraun, a dark brown from the palette of the Luftwaffe.
Responsibility details are not available.
RLM 61 is a dark brown shade from the color palette of the German Reich Air Ministry. It belonged to the trio of upper camouflage colors that German aircraft wore at the beginning of the Second World War: the brown RLM 61 was combined with green shades into a splinter pattern on the upper surfaces, while the underside of the wing and fuselage stayed light. Later a darker scheme replaced this trio on combat types, so the brown remained characteristic of the early period.
The paint suits German bomber and attack types from the end of the 1930s and the first years of the war above all, that is aircraft carrying the splinter camouflage pattern. It is also useful to modelers building the machines of prewar flying units, and as a brown tone for tuning other surfaces where a sober earthy color with no reddish cast is needed.
One bottle of paint in the stated shade is supplied. Thinner, other shades and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well-ventilated room and keep the paint out of the reach of children.
