Responsibility details are not available.
A paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics AIR range for aircraft models, a water-thinnable acrylic in a 17 ml bottle. Camouflage Grey, commonly called Barley Grey, corresponds to the standard BS381C/626 and is a light, cool gray with a subtle cast. It sprays like a lacquer, is thinned with water or acrylic thinner and is non-toxic and non-flammable.
Barley Grey appeared in later decades as part of the low-visibility gray schemes of the RAF. It came into use on jets, where it replaced pronounced contrasting camouflage with a restrained combination of gray tones. The shade is lighter and cleaner than the dark sea grays of the wartime period.
For modelers of modern British jets who want a shade exactly to the BS381C/626 standard.
A water-thinnable acrylic, non-toxic and non-flammable. Even so, work in a ventilated room and use extraction when airbrushing.
