SEA Camo Brown (FS 30219)

SEA Camo Brown (FS 30219) — Mr.Paint

A lacquer modeling paint from Mr.Paint in a brown shade matching the FS 30219 standard. It is one of the colors of the Southeast Asian (SEA) camouflage scheme carried by American combat aircraft during the Vietnam War. The paint is ready to spray straight with an airbrush, has excellent coverage, dries quickly and leaves a fine satin (semi-matte) finish.

Use

• Airbrush application of the brown component of SEA camouflage on models of U.S. aircraft (Vietnam era)
• The paint is pre-thinned — with a 0.3 mm nozzle or larger, further thinning usually is not needed
• Recommended spraying in thin coats over a suitable base (primer), at roughly 10–25 PSI
• Thin and clean the airbrush with a lacquer thinner matching lacquer paints
• The FS 30219 shade can be combined with other SEA-scheme colors for the camouflage fields

Who it is for

For modelers building American Vietnam War-era aircraft who work with an airbrush and want an accurate SEA camouflage shade. Because of its lacquer base, it suits more experienced builders with airbrush experience better.

A lacquer paint — flammable. Use only with an airbrush in a well-ventilated area or with extraction, wear a respirator and protect your skin. Keep away from children and ignition sources.
