That is a collector's category markedly larger than ordinary military figures, and matching bases for it are hard to come by. This one is made for such figures from the start, so you do not have to work out whether the proportions of the steps will match the figure.
Steps are rewarding in storytelling terms. They give a figure a reason to move, they allow a stride forward and a view from above, and they suggest by themselves that the scene continues out of frame.
