Canvas straps and ammunition pouches are neither wool nor leather, and the shade Webbing and Equipment 1 from Lifecolor is mixed for exactly them.
Responsibility details are not available.
Webbing is woven strap equipment: belts, shoulder straps, ammunition pouches, bread bags and packs, that is kit of firm cotton weave that soldiers wore over the uniform. The Webbing and Equipment 1 shade is one of the tones the uniform line of the Lifecolor brand offers for it, and in the line it is continued by a second tone of the same purpose. It is a water-based acrylic paint for figures and their kit.
Strap equipment tends to be the third material on a figure beside the uniform and the boots, and yet it is the one most often neglected. The weave is grainy and light passes over it in a subdued way, unlike leather, which has a sharp highlight on the edges. Pouches and packs also hold their shape, so the shadow on them lies across the surfaces, not in folds as on the fabric of a uniform. Once the straps get a tone of their own, they come forward over the uniform as a separate layer and the figure suddenly looks equipped, not merely dressed.
It will serve modelers of figures and dioramas who paint the kit separately and do not rely on a single tone across a whole figure. It naturally complements the shades of uniforms, leather and helmets from the same uniform line.
Close the container carefully after taking paint out so that it does not dry in the neck. Keep out of the reach of children.
