A decal set from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for a helicopter model: markings for the attack Mi-24 in the D, V and P versions in Hungarian service, so from one sheet you can serve several different kits of this type.
The Mi-24 is a Soviet attack helicopter that, besides heavy armament, also offers a cabin for a squad, a combination unique among attack helicopters. The D and V versions differ above all in the armament and in the equipment of the tandem cockpit with its characteristic twin canopy, while the P version carries a fixed cannon on the right side of the fuselage instead of a trainable machine gun. The Hungarian Air Force is among the long-standing operators of the type, and its machines wore a number of striking markings during their service.
Before the build, choose a particular machine and version from the sheet and from period photographs; the individual variants of the Mi-24 differ in airframe details that are worth taking into account during the build. Apply the decals onto a glossy cured base, bed them with a softener and fix them with clear once dry. Washes and discreet weathering then give the machine an in-service look.
This is a decal accessory: the helicopter model itself is not included in the package.
