According to the maker the kit contains rubber tires, decals and parts specific to this version. The marking scheme captures the winning car with the number 21, with which Per Stureson took the title in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) of 1985.
The boxy Volvo 240 family sedan turned, thanks to a turbocharged engine, into a surprisingly fast circuit racer. In the middle of the 1980s it dominated the touring car category and in 1985 it carried its driver to the DTM championship title. The combination of an unassuming boxy body and the solid power of the turbo engine made it a legend, nicknamed the flying brick by the fans. The car is one of the most characteristic machines of the golden era of touring car racing.
With a racing car a clean finish and precise decals are decisive. Smooth the body, spray a primer and paint it; match the base to the colors of the livery. Fit the chrome and the clear parts only after painting. Apply the sponsor decals patiently and soften them with a decal softener, so that they settle into the edges. Paint the interior with the roll cage and the seat separately and finish the wheels according to the real subject. Glue the plastic with liquid cement for polystyrene.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
