Eduard Boston Mk.IV LooK 1:32 - an add-on instrument panel for the cockpit of the famous twin-engined bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This add-on set from the LooK line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard is aimed at the cockpit of the Boston Mk.IV bomber in the large 1:32 scale. You are not buying a model of the aircraft but a detail item focused on the instrument panel - the part that is beautifully visible under the canopy glazing and the first thing to catch the eye when you look into a finished model. The idea behind the LooK line is a quick route to a presentable instrument panel without laboriously picking out every dial.
The Douglas Boston was a twin-engined light bomber of American design that earned a reputation with the Royal Air Force as a fast and tough machine. The Mk.IV variant came in during the later stages of the Second World War, was marked by a glazed nose for the bombardier and took part in daylight raids on targets in occupied Western Europe. The roomy pilot's cockpit lets every piece of equipment stand out at a large scale.
Seat the panel only after the surrounding areas of the cockpit have been painted, and dry-fit everything first. Glue with the smallest possible amount of cyanoacrylate applied on a pin so that the joint does not overflow anywhere. A fine matte overcoat on the surrounding areas helps it blend with the interior, but leave the instruments themselves alone.
