A detail set of the gun bay for the Focke-Wulf Fw 190D fighter in 1:32 scale from the manufacturer Aires. The resin accessory makes it possible to display the exposed installation of the armament with faithfully rendered guns, mountings, ammunition and internal structure.
The Fw 190D Dora was a late V-engined version of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 fighter powered by the Junkers Jumo 213 engine. The armament consisted of synchronized guns in the forward part of the fuselage as well as guns in the wing roots.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. The bay comes out best left open, and it pays to paint it in sections and to bring out the details with a wash.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
