Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German self-propelled 5 cm Flak 41 anti-aircraft gun on the Sd.Kfz.7/2 half-track chassis in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. It is a kit with a large number of parts, photo-etched components and rubber tires for the front axle. The model brings together a detailed half-track tractor with a folding platform and a gun whose mount allows traverse as well as elevation. The package holds decals.
The 5 cm Flak 41 was a German anti-aircraft gun of 50 mm caliber intended to cover the band between the light guns of 37 mm and the heavy guns of 88 mm. Development was protracted and only a few dozen were built. Some of them were mounted on the Sd.Kfz.7 half-track chassis, which produced a self-propelled anti-aircraft weapon with good mobility. The folding sides of the load area allowed the crew all-round traverse and quick action.
Given the number of parts, work in subassemblies, and finish and paint the half-track running gear and the gun mount before final assembly. Use thin cement for plastic, bond the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue, and with the rubber tires check that the glue is suitable. Lay down a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush. You will bring the open platform and the tracked running gear out with washes in the recesses and pigments for dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
