T-55, a resin set of burnt road wheels 1:35 (DEF Model)

A resin set of road wheels of the T-55 tank in a post-fire state, in 1:35 scale from DEF Model. It is not a model of the tank but a detail accessory for a diorama. The wheels imitate the state after a hit and a fire: the rubber tire bands are charred, cracked or missing altogether and expose the bare metal wheel disc, the typical look of destroyed or burnt-out armor.

What it is for

Burnt wheels come into their own when building a wreck or a damaged vehicle for a diorama. They replace the ordinary road wheels from the original kit and give the scene a credible story of a hit and a fire.

Fitting and use (resin)

• Wash the parts free of mold release agent (lukewarm water, dish soap)
• Cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces
• Glue with cyanoacrylate glue
• Dark washes, soot and rust pigments will strengthen the effect

Who the accessory is for

For diorama builders and modelers who are building a destroyed or burnt-out T-55. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.

An accessory for more experienced modelers, meant for use with a separately purchased kit. Do not breathe in resin dust.
