MASTER - German 8.8 cm SK L/35 gun 1:350 is a set of turned metal barrels for this early naval gun of the beginning of the 20th century (for example on the battleship Schleswig-Holstein of 1908).
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a ship model but a narrowly focused detail set of turned metal barrels for one specific type of gun, the German 8.8 cm SK L/35 of the beginning of the 20th century. This secondary caliber was carried by a number of German ships of the period, among them the battleship Schleswig-Holstein in her 1908 configuration. Unlike a complete armament set for a ship, this product covers precisely the barrels of the 8.8 cm guns.
The 8.8 cm SK L/35 was a quick-firing naval gun of the Imperial German Navy (Kaiserliche Marine) used to defend against torpedo boats and as secondary armament on large ships at the turn of the 20th century.
Cut off the plastic barrels, drill holes of the matching diameter and glue the turned metal barrels in with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Metal holds paint best once a primer has been applied; tweezers help with the small parts.
This is a detail set for improving a model, not a ship kit. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
