A resin detail set, not an aircraft model. The set faithfully casts the inside of the nose bay of the L-29 Delfin jet trainer with its nitrogen system and instruments, which can be opened up and displayed on a model. The set is intended for kits of this aircraft in 1:48 scale and adds detail that plastic from the box does not offer.
The Aero L-29 Delfin was the first jet aircraft of Czechoslovak design and became the standard basic trainer of the air forces of the Warsaw Pact countries. Its two-seat cockpit for instructor and student, its simple and robust construction and its reliable operation made it one of the most widespread trainers of its era. It is a Czech aviation classic.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and rid them of mold release residue from the mold. Cut off the casting blocks carefully with a saw and level the surfaces; wear a respirator when sanding resin, as the dust is harmful. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with ordinary plastic cement. Apply a base primer before painting.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
