A set of pre-cut masks in 1:24 scale from the Decalcas brand for the window frames of the Ford Focus RS WRC model. It is not a kit and not decals — they are templates that cover the clear inserts and define the edge of the spray. The manufacturer intends them for the older kit from Hasegawa, not for the later boxing of the same car.
The Focus RS WRC was the rally car with which Ford entered the world rally championship at the end of the nineties. The car went through several build phases and the body differed between them, so telling the early and the later version apart is not a formality: a mask cut for one bodyshell need not fit another. That is why you should check which box you are building before you buy.
Peel the mask off the backing sheet, place it dry and press the edge down with a blunt tool so the paint cannot creep underneath. Spray in thin coats and let each one flash off. Remove the mask slowly and at a shallow angle while the finish is not yet fully cured, otherwise it will take the edge of the spray with it.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
