A detailed resin armament set: a pair of 3D-printed GBU-24B Paveway III laser-guided bombs with the Mk.84 body in 1:72 scale. The parts are printed in high-resolution resin, the nose is usually in clear material and the fine fins are thin but strong. Decals are included in the package. It is not a kit of an aircraft but an armament accessory for models of present-day combat aircraft, for example the Rafale.
The GBU-24 Paveway III is a heavy laser-guided bomb of roughly the 2000 pound (1000 kg) weight class, built on the body of the Mk.84 bomb. Thanks to its advanced guidance system it allows precise hits on hardened ground targets. The munition is carried by present-day combat aircraft including the Rafale.
Wash the resin parts free of uncured resin residue, cut the print supports off carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Handle the clear nose gently, so that it stays transparent. Protect your airways when sanding and complete the munition with the enclosed decals.
This is a detailed armament accessory, not a model of an aircraft. A kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
