A plastic kit of the command version of the eight-wheeled Stryker armored personnel carrier, issued by the Chinese manufacturer Trumpeter. It is an injection-molded model meant to be glued together and painted, not a finished replica. The Stryker range of vehicles is among the most widely covered families in this scale, and the individual versions differ above all in their superstructure and equipment.
The Stryker is an eight-wheeled armored vehicle of the US Army derived from a Canadian licensed series, which entered service at the beginning of the millennium. It replaced part of the tracked equipment in units where quick movement under its own power and by air was valued. The M1130 version serves as a mobile command post, and therefore carries extended communications equipment, staff workstations and a markedly larger number of antenna elements than the standard carriers.
Start from the lower part of the hull and the wheel suspension, which has to be fitted symmetrically, otherwise the vehicle will not sit on all its wheels on a base. Attach the armor and the superstructure only once everything has dried. A base coat unifies the surface and makes the further work easier. Dusty effects on the fenders and around the ramps can be created with a light pigment applied with a dry brush.
It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are not part of the delivery.
