1:32 F-14D Tomcat air intakes (3D printed) from Reskit is an accessory to the Trumpeter kit, not an aircraft model. It replaces the air intakes and their ducts with a more faithful shape and greater depth.

This set is not an aircraft kit but an accessory to the Trumpeter kit you already own. It deals with one place only, though a highly visible one: the rectangular air intakes and the ducts behind them. The parts are made by 3D printing, so they have thin walls and crisp edges, which in this very spot are hard to reach with injection-molded plastic. In a large scale you can look into the intake, and a shallow or blanked-off duct from the box is one of the first things a viewer notices.
The F-14D was the last production version of the carrier fighter with a variable-geometry wing. It differed from the early machines above all in new powerplants and updated avionics. On this type the air intakes are angular, with flat control ramps ahead of the engines. The flat surfaces and the sharp leading edge make them a prominent recognition feature of the whole forward fuselage, so their shape matters more than on aircraft with a circular intake.
Before gluing, wash the 3D printed parts in lukewarm water with dish soap and let them dry thoroughly; residues of process fluid otherwise keep the paint from holding. Cut the supports away with a saw or a sharp scalpel and never snap them off. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue rather than cement for plastic. Sand wet and with your airways protected. It is sensible to spray the inside of the duct before assembly: a light shade will not fill in at depth and the seam after gluing can then be touched in with a brush. Fill and sand the transition between the accessory and the plastic of the fuselage, otherwise it will stay visible after varnishing.
