A resin, 3D printed detail accessory in 1:48 scale from the maker Reskit. The set holds the right and left side air intakes (the inlet ducts) for the kit of the F-14A Tomcat carrier fighter from GWH. It is not a kit of the aircraft, but a replacement that sharpens the shape and the inner walls of the intakes compared with the parts from the box.
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was an American twin-engine carrier fighter with a variable-geometry wing. The characteristic angular side intakes fed air to the engines; their faithful shape markedly affects the final impression of a model. Reskit reproduces them with exact 3D printing.
Wash the parts, cut off the print supports and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend painting the inside of the ducts before closing them up.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package. Sand resin with protection of the airways.
