Responsibility details are not available.
The plastic figure set French FT-17 Light Tank Crew and Orderly in 1:35 scale from Meng. It is not a model of the tank but a set of three figures – two crew members of the French FT-17 light tank and an orderly – completed by a period Peugeot motorcycle of 1917. The scene captures the orderly passing orders to the tank commander. For the exact package contents, follow the instructions.
The Renault FT-17 was a French light tank of the First World War and a pioneer of the layout with a rotating turret. The crew consisted of two men – a driver and a commander. Orderlies on motorcycles of that time carried orders between units. The figures capture the uniforms of the period and natural gestures; the set also offers alternative parts, for example a helmet, a beret and a face mask.
Clean the flash off the parts and glue them with a cement for plastic; glue the small parts of the motorcycle with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray a primer, tone the uniforms with washes into the folds and shade the faces and the hands with oils. Finish the motorcycle with metal and leather in mind – polish the chrome and the painted surfaces and keep the saddle muted.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
