US Army CH-47 Crew in Vietnam 1:35 is a set of plastic figures of a helicopter crew from Trumpeter. It is not a model of the helicopter but an accessory for a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of plastic figures in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter presents the crew of the American CH-47 transport helicopter of the Vietnam War period. The box usually contains four figures in various poses, additional equipment and several parts for a simple base with a cut-out of the cabin. It is an accessory for a model and a diorama, not a kit of the helicopter.
The CH-47 Chinook is an American heavy transport helicopter with a pair of tandem rotors, which was used in the Vietnam War to carry troops and supplies and for recovery work. The figures capture the typical flight and ground equipment of a crew of the time.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, clean up the mold seam lines and glue them with thin modeling cement. A primer and painting in graduated shades are the answer; the skin and the equipment are brought to life with glazes and a fine dry brush. The figures come into their own on a diorama or beside a model of the helicopter.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a model of the helicopter are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
