A detailed resin engine exhaust nozzle for models of the Soviet MiG-23BN in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory, not an aircraft kit. The nozzle replaces the simplified part from the box and adds a realistic inner and outer form with fine petals and texture.
The MiG-23, NATO code name Flogger, was a Soviet combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing; the BN version was the fighter-bomber variant for ground attack. The rear of the aircraft with its exhaust nozzle is exposed to the eye and a good replacement noticeably raises the credibility of a model.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the inside of the nozzle in metallic shades with heat discoloration, or bring out the depth of the petals with a wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
