This set is NOT an aircraft model but a resin detail accessory intended for MiG-23 models in 1:48 scale. The cast wheels cover the main versions named in the title and replace the simplified plastic parts with more faithful tires and hubs. The set is meant for more experienced modelers.
The MiG-23 has a conspicuous single-leg nose gear and rugged main landing gear, where the wheels are clearly visible. Resin tires have a more distinct tread and a cleaner hub; the design is shared across several versions, so one set covers a wider range of subjects. The parts are designed as a direct replacement.
Wash the wheels free of mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; sand with respiratory protection. The tires look better in a dark gray shade; set the hubs apart with a mask or a brush and add light dust weathering from the runway.
This is a supplementary set, not a complete kit. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
