A resin detail set from the Czech brand CMK in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a replacement for the landing gear bays, with which you markedly increase the fidelity of the underside of a model of the Panavia Tornado IDS combat aircraft. The set brings finely worked bays with rich structural detail in place of the simplified parts of the base kit. It is intended for more experienced modelers.
The Panavia Tornado IDS (Interdictor/Strike) is a two-seat multirole combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, developed in cooperation between Germany, Great Britain and Italy. The IDS version is intended for attacks on ground targets and for penetrating air defenses at low altitude.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways when sanding. Paint the bays with a base color, and the detail will stand out after a wash and a drybrush. Finish the landing gear bays and fit them before closing the underside of the fuselage.
The set contains resin parts only. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
