A relief print for the pilot's workstation of the reconnaissance Saab SF-37 Viggen, 1:72 scale. It carries the flight indicators, the controls for the camera equipment and the belts. It is based on the dimensions of the Special Hobby kit.

The version designated SF carried an array of cameras facing forward and to the sides in a reworked nose, and it replaced the older reconnaissance types. The radar in the tip gave way to lenses, so the shape of the nose changed as well. Pictures could be taken from low altitude at high speed, and illumination flares carried on the pylons were available for work in the dark. The pilot had to operate the recording equipment alone, without a second crew member.
The workstation differs from the attack version in the controls for the photographic equipment, which take up a section of the instrument wall of their own. These panels have a different layout from the flight indicators, and under hand painting they turn into nothing but a dark rectangle. The printed layer gives them back their lettering, their switches and the colored fields that make it plain at a glance that this is a different machine from an ordinary fighter.
A cockpit looks best when matte and slightly glossy surfaces alternate within it. Leave the faces of the instruments smoother and knock the surrounding walls back to matte instead. The resulting difference supports the impression of glass over the dials and the depth the relief has prepared.
The cut is based on the cockpit parts of the Special Hobby kit, and the aircraft is not in the package. The front of the fuselage with the camera equipment remains entirely a matter for the plastic parts and the sheet does not reach into it. The weight of the contents lies under the canopy.
