A Mr.Paint modeling paint in the light earth shade Light Earth, designed per its name for camouflaging the MiG-23, MiG-29, Su-22, and Su-25.
Responsibility details are not available.
Light Earth is a light earthy tone, a brownish sand color without a reddish tinge. In camouflage schemes, it serves as the lightest field, carrying the main area of the upper surfaces against which the darker patches then stand out. The shade is muted rather than saturated, which on a model corresponds to the look of the real aircraft seen from a distance.
The paint's name lists four types the shade is mixed for: the MiG-23, MiG-29, Su-22, and Su-25. These are Soviet-designed aircraft that also saw wide use outside the Soviet Union, so the same coloring suits models operated by other users too. The exact appearance of the scheme should always be taken from the instructions for the specific kit, since it varied from aircraft to aircraft and by period.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, or the paint will come out darker or, conversely, faded. Apply it in several thin coats on a degreased, dust-free surface, ideally over a primer that evens out the absorbency of plastic, filler, and accessories. The light earthy tone has weak coverage, so plan for an extra coat rather than one thick spray. Spray the boundaries between camouflage fields according to the reference: a soft transition freehand with the airbrush, a sharp edge using a mask applied before spraying. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the package for thinning and cleaning tools.
The paint itself is supplied. Thinner, primer, final varnish, and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
