An AK Interactive modeling paint from the Real Colors line in the shade RAF Cockpit Grey-Green, the interior color of British aircraft. 17 ml bottle.
Responsibility details are not available.
Cockpit Grey-Green is a muted gray-green that British aircraft carried inside the cockpit. It painted the cockpit walls, the instrument panel, frames and structural members — that is, the surfaces visible on a finished model through the open canopy. It is one of the most distinctive interior shades of British aircraft manufacturing and, at a glance, sets a British machine apart from an American or German one.
The shade is intended for the interior of British aircraft cockpits and also suits add-on interior detail sets fitted into the model. It also works on small interior parts such as consoles, seats or the inner side of hatches. Because it is muted, it takes dry-brush highlighting and a dark panel-line wash well, both of which pull out the detail.
The bottle must be shaken thoroughly before use, since the pigment settles to the bottom. The paint is applied in several thin coats onto a degreased, dust-free surface, ideally over a primer that evens out the absorbency of plastic, filler and add-on parts. Thinning, spray pressure and tool cleaning follow the manufacturer's instructions on the package; use the thinner recommended for this line. Paint the interior before gluing the fuselage together, since you can no longer reach the cockpit once it is closed up.
The paint alone is supplied in a 17 ml bottle. Thinner, primer, final varnish and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
