The package contains a vacuum-formed (vacuform) clear cockpit canopy in 1:72 scale for a model of the Hawker Hunter F.6. It is not an aircraft kit but a separate accessory. The clear, thin-walled material replaces the part from the box and improves both the transparency and the view into the cockpit. The way the parts are divided usually allows the cockpit to be displayed in the open position as well.
The Hawker Hunter was one of the most successful British jet fighters of the post-war era, valued for its clean aerodynamic shapes and its reliability. The F.6 version was among the most capable single-seat fighter variants, with a more powerful engine. The glazed cockpit with its good field of view is a prominent feature on a model.
Cut the canopy out with a small margin, sand the edge precisely until it seats and glue it with canopy glue or a minimum of cyanoacrylate. Mask the frames before spraying and work carefully with the thin material so that it does not distort.
This is a modeling accessory, not a kit. Glue, paints and masks are not included in the package.
