A resin detail set of replacement road wheels for a model of the American M1 Abrams main battle tank in 1:35 scale. This is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the base kit with more faithfully cast parts, with sharper relief on the discs and on the rubber tires.
The M1 Abrams is an American main battle tank brought into service at the beginning of the 1980s. It is marked out by its gas turbine, composite armor and high mobility. The running gear consists of torsion bar suspension with rubber tires on the wheels, which pick up dust and wear quickly on machines in service.
First wash the parts free of release agent residue, cut off the sprue gates and fit them to the running gear. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection. The wheels come out well with washes and pigments that bring out the wear on the tires and the dust laid on them.
A detail set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
