The Quickboost resin detail set contains precisely cast replacement exhausts for models of the British Bristol Blenheim Mk.IF in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces the plastic exhausts from the base kit with a more faithful casting.
Resin exhausts have open, drilled openings and a finer surface than injection-molded parts usually do. The engine nacelles then look more realistic and carry a patina of burnt colors and rust better.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the faces while protecting your airways. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Exhausts are usually painted in metallic and rust shades with pigments.
