The Mikoyan MiG-17 aluminum panels 1:48 (Metallic Details) is a set of self-adhesive metal films that give the surface of a model the look of polished metal.
Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory is not a model but a set of self-adhesive metal panels. The accurately shaped films imitate the individual skin panels and give the surface of a model a realistic metallic sheen that is hard to achieve with paint. Intended for the MiG-17 model in 1:48 scale.
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17 is a first-generation jet fighter following on from the MiG-15, with a swept wing and a single turbojet. On many aircraft parts of the skin were left in natural metal, which is what this set imitates.
For modelers who want a convincing natural metal effect without laboriously spraying metallics. Applying them calls for care in aligning the panels.
This is a surface accessory, not a model. Neither paints nor a kit are included in the package.
