Eduard 1:700 RN Roma 1943 is a photo-etched set for refining the details of the plastic model of the Italian battleship Roma. It is not a kit but an accessory for a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech maker Eduard holds stainless photo-etch intended to improve the details of the plastic model of the battleship Roma in her 1943 condition, in 1:700 scale. It completes the fine features that injection-molded plastic cannot capture. It is not a ship model in itself; it is an accessory for the base kit.
Roma was an Italian battleship of the Littorio class, one of the most modern units of the Regia Marina in the Second World War. She carried main guns of 381 millimeter caliber. In September 1943, while sailing to surrender to the Allies, she was sunk by a German Fritz X guided bomb.
The photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife on a firm surface and are usually glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Make the bends along the etched score line. Degrease the parts before painting. The set is useful above all for refining the railings, ladders, cranes and details of the superstructures.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a kit. The plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
