An injection-molded plastic kit of the American battleship USS Missouri in 1:700 scale from the company Trumpeter. It captures the ship in her configuration of 1991. The hull can be built whole for the stand or in the waterline version. The package holds the parts of the hull and the superstructure, rotating gun turrets, decals and the instructions.
USS Missouri (BB-63) was a battleship of the Iowa class. She became famous for the signing of the Japanese surrender on her deck in 1945. After her modernization she served in the later decades as well. In her configuration from the beginning of the 1990s she carried, alongside the classic main armament of 406 mm caliber, modern guided missiles and systems of the period of the Gulf War.
Glue the parts with a thin cement for plastic. Decide in advance between the full-hull and the waterline build. The decks and the superstructure stand out after a coat of primer, airbrushing and accenting with a wash into the panel lines. Fine items such as the railings and the radars can be replaced by photo-etched parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
