An acrylic modeling paint from AK Interactive's Real Colors line, a dark yellow shade under designation RAL 7028, in a 17 ml bottle.
Responsibility details are not available.
The shade carries the German name Dunkelgelb and the English name Dark Yellow, and is listed under number RAL 7028. The swatch number matters a great deal here, because there are many dark yellows and without an unambiguous designation they are easily confused. With the RAL number, on the other hand, you know exactly which tone you are holding, can look it up in a color scheme, and can buy the same yellow again when another model from the same build needs finishing.
Dark yellow is applied over the whole surface as the base tone of multicolor coats, with green and brown spots then coming over it. The order matters: the yellow layer must be completely dry first, only then are the spots painted. Soft transitions are sprayed freehand with the nozzle brought close; sharp edges go through a mask stuck onto the dried coat before you spray the next color.
Yellow pigments cover worse than dark shades, so a light base and several thin coats pay off better than one heavy one. Stir the bottle thoroughly before use, since the pigment settles to the bottom. Apply it to a clean, degreased surface and let the paint dry between coats. The thinning ratio, spray pressure and tool cleaning follow the manufacturer's instructions on the package.
One 17 ml bottle of paint is supplied. The base color, masking material, thinner, final varnish and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
