The resin set 1:144 Boeing 747-8 landing flaps from LACI puts a model of the giant Boeing into the landing configuration. The set is cut for the Revell kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The resin castings replace the closed trailing edge of the wing on the model with a set of flaps in the fully extended position. The set is cut for the Revell kit. The same modification is also made for a model from a different manufacturer, so when ordering, make sure which Jumbo Jet you have at home.
The Boeing 747-8 is the longest and the youngest development line of the famous four-engine giant. It first flew in 2010, and you can tell it from the older 747s by the new wing with raked tips and by the GEnx engines taken over from the Dreamliner. A passenger version, the Intercontinental with a lengthened upper deck, and a Freighter were built, and it is the freighters that make up the majority of the aircraft delivered. On approach the aircraft extends the inboard and outboard flaps to their full depth, the outline of the wing grows considerably to the rear and the whole machine looks completely different from its cruise configuration.
First wash the castings in warm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc, and never snap them. Sanding is done wet and with respiratory protection, because the dust is fine. The joints are held by cyanoacrylate; ordinary cement for plastic will not help here.
