Eduard Brassin Mosquito FB Mk.VI nose guns 1:32 is a resin detail accessory for models of the fighter-bomber de Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI. It refines the armament in the nose of the fuselage.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set from the Brassin range from Eduard in 1:32 scale, complemented by photo-etched parts. It is not a model, but a detail accessory. It refines the assembly of the nose machine guns of the de Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI, which carried four machine guns of 7.7 mm caliber in the front of the fuselage. It is intended for models of this fighter and attack version of the Mosquito.
On the attack Mosquito the front machine guns are a conspicuous element and their barrels tend to be simplified in plastic. The resin and photo-etched parts allow a realistic rendering of the barrels as well as the mounts, optionally with the armament bay exposed. The detail raises the fidelity of the whole nose section of the model.
Wash the resin parts to remove the release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate, and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate as well. We recommend painting the barrels in metallic shades and bringing them out with a wash.
This is a detail accessory, not a model on its own. It requires a matching base kit. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
