German ration transport containers of the Second World War in 1:72 scale. Small separate parts for dioramas, supplied unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
Hot food for German units of the Second World War was supplied by field kitchens in the rear. Meals were carried up to the forward positions in sealable containers, and the insulated version was carried on the back on straps. Equipment like this tends to be overlooked in scenes, yet it gives a scene scale and everyday action.
The set brings ration transport containers in 1:72 scale as separate parts. At this scale they are very small items that come into play in a scene at a field kitchen, by a vehicle or beside figures.
Degrease the parts first and only then spray the primer, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. In 1:72 scale legibility decides: a deeper shadow in the seams and a lighter tone on the upper surface make the shape clearer than detailed drawing does. Dose the cyanoacrylate glue with the tip of a toothpick.
The accessory is intended for modelers of small scenes in 1:72 scale who want to equip a scene with something other than vehicles. Because of the size of the parts you will not manage without tweezers and a magnifier. The package contains no figures, vehicles, paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
