Gunze TRANS-AM RED PEARL (Gloss) - Mr.Color

A gloss pearl red paint from the Mr.Color range. Note that this is a lacquer paint on a solvent base, not a water-thinnable acrylic. It is thinned only with Mr.Color lacquer thinner (Leveling Thinner), never with water or an acrylic thinner. The pearl shade gives the model a deep, rich and slightly metallic sheen, popular above all on robot kits and models with bold areas of color.

Use

• Applied above all with an airbrush; a brush is also possible
• Thinned with Mr.Color lacquer thinner (roughly 1:1 for a brush, 1:2 for an airbrush)
• Pearl paints come into their own on a smooth, well prepared base; the pigment settled at the bottom has to be stirred in thoroughly before use
• It dries quickly into a hard and smooth lacquer film

Who it is for

For modelers who want a deep pearl sheen and are used to working with lacquer paints and their thinners. Thanks to the durable film it also suits being overcoated with further clear coats.

Lacquer paints are flammable and give off fumes; work in a well ventilated area, use respiratory protection and keep away from fire. Do not thin with water.
