Resin zachytí jemnější detail: napnuté potahy helem, švy, struktury látek. Je ale křehčí, lepí se vteřinovým lepidlem a před barvením vyžaduje omytí od separátoru.

Vteřinovým, případně dvousložkovým epoxidem u větších ploch. Běžné lepidlo na polystyren resin nespojí, protože funguje na principu leptání plastu, který u pryskyřice neprobíhá.

Z formy si nesou zbytky separačního prostředku, na kterém nedrží barva ani lepidlo. Stačí teplá voda se saponátem, měkký kartáček a důkladné osušení.
