Montex 1:24 Junkers Ju-87D-5 Stuka is a masking set for the cockpit glazing of a kit you already own. It is not a model and not part of one.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds self-adhesive masks cut to the framing of the glazed cockpit. There is no model in the package — the masks are stuck onto the clear parts of a large-scale kit you already own. On the Ju 87 this is work nobody enjoys: the glazing is long, divided into many panes, and in 1:24 scale it covers a large area.
The Junkers Ju 87 was a German two-seat dive bomber with fixed landing gear and an inverted gull wing, generally known by the nickname Stuka. The D-5 version belonged to the late batches: it had extended lifting surfaces with modified tips and carried cannon armament in the wing instead of the earlier machine guns. It was powered by a liquid-cooled Junkers V12 engine.
Wash and degrease the glazing first, so that the masks hold throughout the spraying. Lay long strips of mask on gradually, in sections, not all at once. Thin the paint more than usual and spray in several light passes — on a large area the risk of a flooded edge is higher. Spray camouflage with soft transitions from the lightest shade to the darkest. Take the masks off with tweezers at a sharp angle while the finish is not yet fully cured.
The package holds masking templates only. The model, paints and glue are not included.
